As a painter, I am attracted to visual intensity in terms of charged colour and bold pattern. Flowers and textiles areimportant sources of inspiration to me. I am delighted to find my work described as ‘decorative’!

I was educated at Oxford, The Courtauld Institute, and Hunter College New York I was a student of Tony Smith and Robert Morris.
I taught art history in America and various English art schools including Hornsey College (Middlesex University); has contributed to various publications including Studio International
